Hello, my name is Richard James, and I am the founder and owner of Cyrl Cymru, the very first curly hair salon in Wales, based in Aberystwyth.
With over 20 years of experience in hairdressing, I’ve worked in salons across Carmarthen, Swansea, and Bristol before deciding to bring my passion for curls back home to Aberystwyth.
Since opening Cyrl Cymru 4 years ago, I’ve been fully booked with clients who travel from across Wales and the rest of the UK for a specialist curly cut. My goal has always been to create a welcoming space where curly hair is celebrated, cared for, and styled to bring out its natural beauty.
